We finally have more information for the swim meet this Saturday!

This meet is Saturday, September 21^st, in Thornton.

The pool address:

Veterans’ Memorial Aquatic Center                                                                         5310 E 136^th Ave., Thornton, CO 80241

There is a large parking lot on site, as well as overflow parking available across the street at Horizon High School.

This meet will begin around 8:00 am, with the following warm-up schedule:

6:45 am: swimmers welcome on deck

 7:00 - 7:25 am: Thornton, Brighton, Aurora                                                                 7:25 – 7:50 am: HRCA, Berthoud, Lakewood, Windsor (North Pool)                     7:50 – 8:00 am: Blocks open in main pool for dives

Please have your kiddos at the pool by 6:40/6:45 am!

The seating area, which is very large, will open for parents at 7:00 am. If you haven’t been to VMAC before, there are bleachers, so families really don’t need to bring chairs, but towels and blankets are great to make the bleachers more comfortable. Parents are not allowed on deck, only swimmers and coaches.

There is a concession stand available at this pool, but as a reminder, we hope to see the kiddos eating healthy and energy-providing foods!

These are not required whatsoever, but wanted to provide you all with some ideas of some great snacks for energy in between events! Don’t forget to bring water as well!
